A new “The Best of Central America,” in this case, Honduras

A new “The Best of Central America,” In this case, Honduras

Not even a month had passed before I found myself returning to Central America, this time to Honduras. Having taken a small group of individuals to experience the best of Guatemala in March, 2023, I immediately journeyed  in April  to film a different region of Honduras with the same cameraman who helped me put together a Youtube, rough show concept focusing on the Bay Islands (of Caribbean Honduras) and a second episode on the history along the mainland Honduran coast.

While in a very modern-looking Honduras, my cameraman Oz and I reconnected and travelled in an entirely different direction literally and figuratively. Over the course several days travelling, I discovered what is arguably the world’s oldest working pendulum clock in the small village of Comayagua, (dating to the 1100’s) learned about sustainable wind farms in San Marcos De Colon, tried my hand at fishing in the Gulf of Fonseca (border that is shared between Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua) and feasted on foods low in chemicals and high in taste, flavor and originality.

And that was the first four days!

Once again, this was a memorable experience, something that if I had my way, I would take each and every one of you  along for an incredible journey. As I write this, the filming is in post-production and we are working to eliminate as many edits that might exist. If you’ve ever been interested in seeing one of my presentations, I’ve a great opportunity for you.

If you’re in the Seattle area, on November 3, 2023, I will be presenting “An Evening with Ron Podmore’s The Best of Central America.” I will share with the audience what awaits those who are interested in experiencing life as I always say “outside your comfort zone.” After that, we will screen the nearly hour-long movie “Eye of the Tiger” which focuses on the Western side of Honduras. This upbeat documentary captures breathtaking aerial drone camera technology along with several conversations enjoyed with the people I met in Spring, 2023.

Thank you for continuing to subscribe to my website. Please share if you can on social-media about this presentation at the Federal Way Performing Arts & Entertainment Center as it is my first time. Best of all, tickets are $25.00 and they help cover future filming. Come along, travel with purpose. I hope to see you in the audience. – Ron
